In the product packaging process, there is a large demand for boxing operations. At present, carton unpackers and carton sealers have been widely used. However, due to changes in the type, size and shape of materials, changes in carton sizes, the packing process is generally manual. In order to fill the gap in the boxing operation, Astro robots have taken advantage of the technical advantages of parallel manipulators. By integrating the design of the material conveying line and the carton conveying line, a multifunctional boxing operation unit based on parallel robots has been introduced.
Based on the flexible characteristics of parallel robots, the parallel robot automatic packing unit uses the fast, efficient, and accurate characteristics of parallel robots, and uses this as a tie to seamlessly connect with box openers and box sealers, adding on the basis of traditional boxers. The high-speed parallel robot frees up a lot of labor required for packing in the traditional factory production line.
The automatic packing unit has an advanced design, compact structure, convenient use, reliable operation, and can effectively guarantee product quality, which improves production efficiency and reduces labor intensity. The automatic packing unit can adapt to cartons and materials in the range of 200-500mm in length and width. The maximum length and width can reach 400mm, which can adapt to various packaging materials such as carton and plastic bag. Because the structure design of the whole machine is very simple, it is easy to maintain and repair, there are few spare parts, and the maintenance cost is the lowest. The floor space is small, and it can be set up to work in a small space, which improves the efficiency of site use.
The parallel robot automatic packing unit is mainly composed of a vision system, a sorting system, a parallel robot, a product transportation conveyor, and a carton transportation line.
The vision system uses the world's leading imported visual identification system to effectively identify the product location and ensure the accuracy of product identification. Machine vision technology performs a variety of highly sophisticated tasks on high-speed production lines, and then passes the processing results to the parallel robots. The parallel robots programmatically analyze and make action processing solutions to accurately complete the picking and sorting actions.
Product Transportation Conveyor
The supporting conveyor line of the parallel robot adopts the motor conveyor belt method. The robot vision system locates and conveys the line encoder feedback position to realize the robot's position and attitude recognition and accurate grasping of the target workpiece. According to the beat and the needs of the scene, multiple conveyor lines can be operated simultaneously.
The packing process uses a self-developed high-speed parallel robot for grasping movement. The robot hand has achieved positioning accuracy of plus or minus 0.1 mm, 120-150 beats per minute, and full coverage of the working space of 160-1500mm. Do not drop during high-speed handling. Robot movement is controlled by a servo system, and its trajectory is highly adjustable. It is suitable for automatic identification, sorting, sorting, handling and packing of small and lightweight products in the food, pharmaceutical and daily chemical industries.
Product sorting system
The vibration compaction mechanism, after the packing operation of the robot arm is completed, the transportation line conveys the carton to the next unit according to the information feedback. Due to the special reasons of some product packaging, the contents of the box may exceed the height of the carton itself. In order to facilitate the operation of the sealing process, such a compaction mechanism is designed. The lower cylinder vibrates multiple times and the upper cylinder performs compaction operations. Organize the items in the box.
The unpacking machine automatically opens the stacked cardboard boxes, the bottom of the box is folded according to a certain procedure, and it is sealed with tape to be sent to the boxer. During the conveying process, the speed of the carton supply is automatically adjusted according to the feedback of the parallel robot packing system. The unpacking machine has been technically modified and can automatically adjust for 200-500mm commonly used cardboard boxes. It meets the needs of different types of products in a set of automated boxing unit standards, expanding the applicability of the boxing unit and improving Productivity.
